The event will be set up a bit like a speed dating event but without the awkward small talk. Those looking for a board member will have 10 minutes to chat to those looking to join a board. This is a chance for you to ‘pitch’ your organisation and let folks know what skills and knowledge you are looking for.

You will ‘date’ the organisations and learn about them. You will discuss your skills, knowledge, experience, and what you can add to their board. If you’re not what they’re looking for, you’ll have a great time getting to know each other. You never know what might come from a 10-minute conversation.

Funeral Link – are looking for expertise in grant applications, social situations, NHS, funerals, social media, leadership skills.
Nuture Steps – are looking for a marketing director, clinical driector and a fundraising director.
Dundee Carers Centre – are looking for finance, further education and lived experience of a disibilty.
Federation Gallery – are looking for those with experience in running a Community Interest Company).
Cake or Dice CIC – are looking for those with knowledge of CIC’s who can offer business development and finance expertise.
Dundee Community Craft – are seeking those with experience with finance.
Campy Growers – are looking for board members who would like to get their hands dirty as well as help them develop and grow the organisation with funding experience and business management.
