We’ve been named one of the UK’s top social enterprises 3 years in a row

The Circle has been named one of the UK’s top social enterprises for the third year in a row. We have been listed on the NatWest SE100 Index, a list that celebrates the growth, impact and resilience of social ventures in the UK. The SE100 was created by Pioneers Post in partnership with NatWest over 10 years ago.

This announcement comes after a year of immense growth and development for The Circle. In 2020 we implemented a 4-day working week to improve staff wellbeing and encourage work-life balance. We also moved to solely online delivery of The Circle Academy. We also helped to secure over £250,000 in funding for our tenants, Academy candidates, consultancy clients and others during the pandemic. In June we announced that we would be expanding into a second hub, this time in Easterhouse, Glasgow, and we recently grew our staff team.

Kirsty Thomson, Founder and CEO of The Circle, says

“We’re thrilled to be named on the Index for the third year running. It means so much to be recognised for our hard work in the past 12 months and to be listed alongside such a high calibre of organisations.”
