Until recently I was employed as the Financial Controller of a construction company at the same time as running my own bookkeeping/accountancy business. Due to the retirement and closure of the company I found myself reconsidering my future career.
The position of financial controller at the Circle was brought to my attention, this offered me a chance to utilise my financial experience at the same time as being involved in a business which is working towards the benefit of the local and wider community in Dundee, so I was delighted when I was offered the position.
My first few days in The Circle were inspiring, listening to the vision for the growth of the Circle and meeting the Team who have been so welcoming. There is a genuine feeling of warmth and happiness as you enter the offices and it’s infectious. I would encourage anyone to visit the building to get a feel for the exiting projects that are going on.
I look forward to being part of this diverse team as it works towards making The Circle a role model to other social Enterprises and community investment Companies.
